First, you should build up your twitter profile with relevant pictures, interesting bio. Username and profile name should be relevant. Once you have done all these then start posting interesting content from your niche, not just your own content but also post niche related content which is useful and interesting, do few retweet daily from your following/followers list. Follow few people from your niche on a daily basis as many people have a tendency of following people back and if your profile is properly managed you will get more people to follow you.
