As per my knowledge Press release submission is If your company has some news which is to be known by public then release that news using media (press) like NDTV, Times etc. If u see NDTV websites there will be lot of news scrolling similarly if any company submits any news it will be known. The news can be related to your company achievements/ Events/ profits/ etc. Now a days Google give lot of importance to press release and it helps a lot in SEO ranking.
