Keyword density refers to the frequency of displaying a search term in a text relative to the total number of words it contains. For example: if a keyword appears three times in the 100-word text, the keyword density will be 3%. From the point of view of the search engines, a high density of keywords is a good indicator of search engine spam. If a keyword appears too often in a website, the search engines will narrow down the website and it will then appear lower in the search results.
