sculpting is the concept of tweaking the links in your site internally to best control the flow of PageRank from one page to another. You could identify pages on your site with high PageRank and use them to direct links to low PageRank portions of your site, therefore generally bringing up the overall PageRank of your site across the board.
Link Sculpting refers to the process of constructing links in a way that improves SEO. This can include using keywords in links instead of generic terms like “Next Page” or using “nofollow” tag on the navigational links on a site so that search engines can focus on the content of other links on the site.
