Google Panda is an algorithm for search results ranking. The main purpose is to keep low quality and low content websites away from top ranking.

The Google Penguin algorithm update is introduced to penalize and decrease the ratings of websites that doesn’t follow “Google’s Webmaster Guidelines”.

Panda was introduced in February 2011, and Penguin was introduced in April 2012, but many updates since then.

So, what to do? My advice is – a) do not put too many keywords in the article (2% is optimal, works good for me), and b) do not over-optimize your page.
