First of all, think of your content as one page in the book of internet, write a meaning and quality content that are most searched for.

Now, your content does not come to 1st page of google , you will have to generate some backlinks from the powerful sites that can help your website listing. Also try to use some good seo plugin , If you are using wordpress for your site then use YOAST SEO PLUGIN.

They can optimize your site quite easily and from there on try to do some research for generating backlinks.
