Some of the most important things for SEO:
1) Make your website responsive and if possible have a mobile version too
2) Unique content that is written in the manner of user experience (ex- I have personally experienced that so and so technique can be useful.....). Write in the first person point of view.
3) Do more social media work and lay extra stress on Pinterest (it is rising and is second only to Facebook). Post infographics, DUI, how to do etc.
4) Cut out bulk spam postings and instead focus on quality.
