You have lots of options in India and it depends on your taste. You didn't mentioned what type of locations best suits you so i will suggest just based on guess. As of brand location for honeymoon is considered goa is on number one. But only if you like sea and beaches. If you resides out of maharashtra then lonavala khandala would be a interesting place for you but if you live in maharashtra i hope you already would have visited that place. Now a days there is a very increasing demand for spending holidays in kerala, very nice place and you will also receive very homely welcome there. People offer house on rent for few days on affordable cost with all home facilities. Plus there are very good hotels as well. If you love royality then i would suggest you to go to rajasthan, places like jaiselmer, jaipur will just make your senses go on a height. For hill stations i would reccomend outside india i.e kathmandu in nepal. It is very good if you like hills, in india you may prefer shimla.
