I am also working on this and the key aspects seem to be:
- Quality content to get positive audience reactions (including comments, thumbs up, sharing and good audience retention)
- Keyword relevance to appear easy and frequently on Google and Youtube search results. Title and description are key aspects.
- Consistency of the Channel: Keep producing good content over a consistent schedule, which eventually increases the channel strength.
