Dear trade shows,

The first thing that you will need to get rank is to decide what keywords you want to rank for. IN your case, it can be something link business event directory and so on.

Once you have decided those keywords, start by placing those keywords in your meta tag of the home page. Also using those keywords in text in your site.

Then you can move on to using Off-Page SEO. You should not expect results immediately. It might take you up-to a month to rank well with competitive keywords.
