XML sitemap is a page under your domain that tells bots that are crawling your domain where to crawl. It is essential for good SEO. If you're using a hosting site like weebly, wix, squarespace, etc., you probably already have a sitemap made up for your domain and it is most likely your domain name followed by /sitemap.xml
Plug that into your browser and if you pull up a page that has a bunch of links on it (it'll look fairly jumbled though), you have found your sitemap! Paste that link into webmaster tools and your SEO will improve in about 1-2 weeks.
