Although this is a great advice, it isn't really the easiest way to make money online. To actually make money with affiliates, you will need visitors to your blog. Getting enough visitors to actually make money with affiliates is not just a weekend hobby.
The easiest way to make money, in my opinion, is probably selling stuff you don't need on eBay.
