I think we shouldn't waste our time to increase Google + followers unless you have enough human resources and time. It is really difficult to increase google + followers coze most of the ppl there are always not online compared with Facebook and other social medias. For me, I'd like to spend my time increasing Facebook followers, it can drive quality traffic to my website other then Google +. Anyhow, Google+ can be used to increase backlinks.....lol
