Personally I think the best ways to promote your blog content are:
1. try to make the content more informative and appealing. This keeps reader stay longer on your blog and want to come back for more.
2. add social share buttons to the blog. If readers find the blog interesting, they will "share" it to the community. You get natural traffic!
