1. ON-Page
2. Off-Page
and there are two main categories which divide the Both SEO type in different different categories.
1. ON-Page = Sub categories " White Hat, Black hat, Gray Hat " Strategies to follow in ON-page optimization. e.g: Keyword stuffing, Duplicate content, clocking
2. OFF-Page = Sub categories " White Hat, Black hat, Gray Hat " Strategies to follow in OFF-page optimization. e.g: Duplicate links, Link spam, Providing same article for back-links.
