basically, I tend to think that Internet Marketing is more general notion. So to say it comprises all activities that are being done under SEM.
SEM is only the efforts aimed at getting your site on the 1st page of google search.
Internet Marketing consists of SEM, social media management, SEO and efforts aimed at gaining more money, selling your product etc.
