Hello everyone, great forum, glad i found it. My name's Erik, I've been a webmaster for about 6 years now. I've done a little bit of everything but am currently focusing on ad-sense content sites and building websites for clients.
Here's a list of the type of sites I've built personally, not for clients.
- Several news sites
- A few product sites
- Education Sites (specifically medical)
- Social networking site
- Streaming sports site
Sites I've built for clients
- Chef websites
- Hippa compliant medical websites for medical equipment companies
- donation sites for mission trips
Out of every model I tried the Streaming sports site seemed to pro-fit the quickest but was eventually ban-ned for misleading practices, since then, I've stayed away from that type of model.
Now a days, my education and medical websites seem to bring in the most revenue (which isn't enough to survive full time but continues to trend upwards and has turned into a significant monthly check).
My passion is news websites. I had a fairly successful news website I so-ld to a webmaster in Australia a few years ago for 4 figures which wasn't bad. I recently launched a new news website, i just couldn't stay away

Although news websites aren't big ca-sh cows with ad-sense, they do tend to become pretty popular on social media and can bring a lot of traffic if you do it right, which makes them good to mon-etize down the line when traffic is big. I've run a couple product sites but have never been too good at it and that's probably why I don't find it that enjoyable.
Well, that's the intro, I joned the forum to see what I can learn and to see if I can help others. I look forward to getting to know some of you.
