You can download SEOQuake which is a add-on to your browser.
This will tell you the PR of any site you visit so you can see which sites will give you the most bang for your buck if you're deciding to do some kind of link building there.
It will also automatically cross out links which are NoFollow which will allow you to see what blogs, forums etc allow DoFollow links which will pass on PageRank to your site.
