1)Find the appropriate keywords for your website.
2)Optimize your webpage around these keywords (both on-page & off-page optimization.)
3)Submit your webpages to all major Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask and to some important directories.
4)Get links from website i.e. inbound links and make sure these links contain your keyword.
All the steps mentioned above are important but the most important is point number 4 to get you rolling on search engine ranking. I will describe all these steps in my next post.
