The point you are referring to can be approached from another aspect too, and that is using SE friendly structures and templates, with stable, static formats. Dynamically developed websites will cause problems when it comes to getting found and indexed by the search engines. Blogs, discussion forums and directories can be among samples of good sites to name in here, usually they contain text instead of a lot of graphics or animations and their content pages can be indexed pretty fast too.
