Yahoo did reign in the previous years with services such as their search engine as well as their email system. The problem with Yahoo is that it stopped innovating and allowed the competition to take their positions in the service categories where they were initially identified as dominant. Now, with Google taking the big part of the search engine competition, what is left best with Yahoo, I think, is their email service.
