My comment isn't on the design, but in the speed of the website loading. It was slow for me so I used a speed test tool (I don't think I can post URL's here) and they said your website loaded in over 10 seconds.

This means you'll lose a lot of visitors if you don't improve the speed of the website. Of course I may have checked it out at an odd moment for the server. Anyway, just my 2 cents.
