Google has launched two shocked updating news ( Panda and Penguin). Panda updated in April and penguin recently. Penguin eradicate sites having no relevant links or two way links like reciprocal linking.
Most of the sites get down their ranking due to the penguin. Now google find those links on site which showing relevancy of the links.
