Does anyone have any hardcore evidence of a duplicate content filter.

This filter may exist but IMO only if you copy all html including text to another url. Wouldn't anyone selling products get hit, because of the descriptions being the same as other websites selling the same product. Or newspaper websites getting hit because they picked up a national story.

Sounds bogus to me. Unless you copy a whole site and let it ride under a different domain. That's the only way i see you getting penalized.

Just my opinion...prove me otherwise.
