What is the formula for knowing keyword density?

Hello friends,

What is the formula for knowing keyword density?

When calculating the density of a keyword phrase, the formula would be (Nkr*Nwp/Tkn)*100, where Nwp is the number of words in the phrase.

Keyword density is basically amount of keywords(in %) used in your content. Keyword densilty should be some where around 2% of the total content or website.

To calculate keyword density in its simplest form, you divide the number of times that you have used a specific keyword by the total number of words in the text that you are analyzing and multiply the result by one hundred to achieve your percentage.

In search engine optimization (SEO) keyword density is the amount in a percentage of the number of times a specific keyword appears compared to the total number of words in a whole page.

The preferred keyword density rate varies from search engine to search engine. In general, it is recommended using a keyword density rate in the range of 1-2%. Too much keyword density can cause your site to be tagged as spam. It means the frequency of keyword use in overall content

To determine the keyword density of a webpage, simply divide the number of times a given keyword is mentioned by the total number of words on the page – the resulting figure is the keyword density of that page.
