If you are using two different version of Javascript on a page and one is not working, then try to change the order it will work. For example if you have placed new version before old version or vice versa, then change the order of placement and check for the result.
Have anyone faced this issue or you are if this post is helpful to get rid of your issue, then do not forget to reply here.

Yes, it is correct. If you have jquery version 1.8 ad 1.2 then place the 1.8 version first and 1.2 second. Then the jquery conflict will be over.
