What is redirection?
 

Hello Guy's please tell me something about redirection..

If you open any site and opened another site, that is call redirection.

When the location of a page has been changed, then the site is redirected to
inform the search engines that the switch over has happened.

When you click a site and open another site, that call redirection. It use for changing domains.

redirection are sending data intended for one drive to another drive or sending a user visiting a web page to another web page.

if you enter one url in browser, internally server redirects to another url same will be notified to browser, redirect should be configures in server configuration

You have a website and you are decided to pick new url instead of the current and you want the visitors to the new site when they open the old url, in this case you can use redirection. This is help to redirect the visitor from old url to new url.

As far as i know there are two types of redirections. One which is permenant redirection and second is temporarely redirection. Permenant redirection also called 301 redirect permenantly redirect visitors from your older website address to new website address. while temporately redirection also called 302 redirect temporarely redirect visitors from older website address to new website address.
