Brand new to adsense and affiliate marketing, please help me get started
 

I'm a law student and have a full time summer job, but I'm free in the evenings and I'd love to be able to earn a little extra cash. Although I understand the concepts of affiliate marketing and adsense programs, I dont know where to start. I don't know if I should give adsense a shot first or affiliate marketing, or where to begin for either. To be clear, I don't operate any websites and I have no affiliate relationships. I have no programming experience. I don't know where to start to build my own website(s), host them, perform SEO on the sites, what affiliate programs are reputable or how to effectively target ads.

I have $400 to invest and about 3 hrs/day to devote to the project(s).

Can someone point me in the right direction, or recommend a book or a guide to get me started?

It is good that you want to know about affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is the way to start internet marketing to promote business, website and products globally and also good to make money online. There are some reputable affiliate programs available like commission junction, Linkshare, citybank which are the best to earn more money.
