Excessive server load

Hi,

My website is on ASP and MS SQL 2008. Every two days my website is suspended by host owner for the reason "Excessive server load". When I asked for details I got "20 MB read/write on the disk caused by some application on your server".

My question is: how can I find the problem, mean, monitor all applications and find the problematic one? I don't have much knowledge in websites managing.
