How long does is take to fully de-index?

Hello,

I'm wondering to remove my site from google and Bing/Yahoo. How can I speed up the process? How long does it usually take to fully remove the site from the search engines?

If you remove it the site will take longer time, the faster way insert a robots.txt. It only take 1-2 weeks.

After removing your website from the server, use URL removal tool in Google webmaster tools. But do not throw huge requests in one go. It will take approx 15 days.
