Bandwidth Problem

What is Bandwidth Problem in web sites?

nathan.joshua 04-16-2012 01:41 PM

If you go over your bandwidth limit no one will be able to access your website.

Bandwidth is used by the server to send images, html pages, scripts, text, EVERYTHING, to the person wishing to view your website (they cannot view your website without downloading it all automatically)

If your bandwidth has ran out, contact your hosting company.

Your website will stop to work if it exceeds bandwidth limit. You need to enable hotlink protection to avoid bandwidth stealing.

Bandwidth is the the rate of speed which you can transfer a particular size file at eg. 100mbps.... That being said. What most here are referring to is called transfer. Transfer is when when you assign a specific amount of data that can be transferred eg. 120GB.
