How does Google calculate top search data
Wondering if anyone understands how Google is calculating top search query data in the new Webmaster Tools. I have read that they will take top positions from each query and average them out. Not clear to me how this is beneficial.

As my point of view, Google use 3 step to calculating top search engine data that are:
1.crawler/ spider 2.Indexing 3.Search engine software |

Don't get caught up in all of that tool garbage, it's very inaccurate. Research your keywords manually and go hard on the SEO. You will climb the rankings in no time.
