The process of looking up your IP to find this data is quick and simple. The process of cataloguing all this data into a database is a bit more involved.

Well said. The geo targetting is helpful us to target the specific location audience. If our services are offered in one country and if target it as world wide is not so appropriate, so we need to geo targeted the location where we do offer our services.
