Foreign Website SEO
 

I'm thinking about building a site for the russian users. Would SEO basically be the same as here in the US except I would type in russian letters and have a .ru domain? Is there a google keyword tool for foreign countries?

The principles of SEO are practically the same, but you have to be good at Russian - and I don't think many foreigners managed that. Anyway, you'll need content in good Russian, proper keywords in Russian, tags and metatags in Russian, page titles in Russian and have your site indexed by Yandex. I wish you good luck, but I doubt that would be worth the effort.

Anyway, try Google AdWords tools with proper destination or some software. I know Linkassistant.com's SEO Powersuite is great for many countries.
