I need some expert advise
Hi
I'm doing off-page optimization for an It company website for four months now, but the PR of the website has not increased. Please provide your input. Thanks. |
There is not a specific criteria in which you can increase your PR as Google increase a webpage PR by a algorithm which is set by Google's technical engineers but if you really want to increase PR then you should get back links from high authority websites.

Thanks for the advise buddy :-)

The PR of your webpages solely depends on high quality links pointing towards them. It seems your optimization strategy lacks something and your webpages still do not have sufficient number of backlinks to justify a PR rise. I suggest you:
- Submit your website URLs to popular, dofollow social bookmarking sites - Guest post on related, dofollow blogs - Submit RSS feeds to feed directories - Create link baits to attract natural oneway links If all this is done consistently and organically, you should be able to see your PR rise in the next update. But, you should not lose sleep over this entire PR hype. Its an important factor but by no means a-be-all-end-all thing. Id suggest you instead focus on bigger factors like traffic, conversions, SERPs and ROI. |
write unique content and get quality links from websites which has high page rank
|
Content is king, or should be. Off-page optimization should also be done targeting real visitors, not rankings
|
Do work on quality content and build backlinks from do follow, high PR websites.Google updates PR after 3 months so if your website will have quality content and high PR backlinks(most important to improve PR) then will get some improvement in PR of your website.
|
The update in the PR (page rank) will not be done instantly. We need to wait for few days and no one can tell the exact time taken by the google to give any website's PR results. So, don't wait for the PR result, just keep working with the thing i.e. build as many dofollow backlinks possible from the high quality, relevant websites/pages.

Patience, my friend. In computing PageRank, Google have to consider many factors, which include how fast your site is in getting links and how long the links stay. It also looks at the the stickiness of your site, meaning the ability of your site to retain visitors.

good post thanks
