Old or New domian?

Hi there,
Do you believe that having an old domain can help you to get better ranking for your desired keywords?
So why some of new domains can compete with old ones in some cases?
Any ideas?

I think an old domain is worth it, if and only if,

- It has a good number of relevant, authority backlinks
- It has a high PR
- It is a reputed domain (i.e. it enjoyed a good search ranking)

Age in itself, does not guarantee rankings.

Normaly it is better to have an "aged" domain. Google prefers them to new one. But of course, if it is a domain which is against the guidelinesof Google,or with a bad reputation, it can be better to have a new one.

Its true that Google trust old domain more easily. This is because of its Pagerank and quality links...Otherwise its of same importance as new one.

Old domain is better then new website domain but old domain has some rest because Google not allow old domains working who expire.

Old domain has some advantage over the new domain. because fi your domain is old. then search engine more trusts on your site than new domain site.
