Everyone is discussing about sitemaps nowadays and the reasons vary for the same. What could be the purpose of having a sitemap on a website? Is it beneficial for the website in any way? As far as I have heard, sitemaps are required to make the navigation process simpler and more effective particularly for the visitors. If that be the reason, I would certainly like to have a sitemap as I intend to start my website soon. In fact, I would like this website to begin without any impediment. However, I would like to know more about the pros and cons of the presence of a sitemap on a website. It would be really nice to get suggestions and solutions on this issue.
