Big News from the Google Camp on Content Farms
For those of you who haven't seen or heard about this yet, visit this link as soon as you can.
Basically, Google is going after the low-grade MFA-type sites in a big way. They started making announcements back in late January, although I noticed behavior in this regard myself around the end of December, and it looks like they're going to amp up this aspect of their content filtering. So if you're running a site with potential content issues (i.e. your content is unoriginal or low in quality), pay attention to this. Usually when big G does something, they don't just make a couple of posts about it and then move on. It's usually a long, ongoing process and there are usually more shots to be fired from the Google cannon. |
