Is there a name for this technique?
 

Hey everyone,

A complete newbie to web design here. I want to create a site with the same type of layout as sites such as balsamiq.com and thingsthatarebrown.com. Namely, a site that takes up the whole screeen. Is there a name for this technique? And is there a any wysiwyg type of cms ( like weebly or wix) that would give me the ability to customize a site like that?? Thanks for your help.
