SEO v/s SEM
 

I prefer to talk and study more about search engine marketing. I do not have high proficiency in web marketing but I have an ardent wish to know more on this. I was told by someone that this strategy can lead a website to greater heights by enhancing it. This can produce an effect on the website�s online presence. Are SEM and SEO different? Can somebody inform me in detail about this subject? I will be glad to get such an individual to guide me who is willing to help me. I wish to learn from the available opinions of experts.

SEM and SEO are different and SEO is one of technique of doing search engine marketing. SEM have many different way of doing search engine marketing like PPC, SEO and many more. Similarly SEO is unpaid way of doing search engine marketing...

I agree with the addyj672's view, they are a relevance which contain and be contained, do the SEM there are many way and the SEO is one of way in which.

SEO is the part of SEM. But one thing is for shore that SEO is not an unpaid practice but it might be paid in some cases. SEM consists of SEO, PPC, Link Exchanging, Social book markings, SMS marketing, E-mail Marketing and many more. So first consider you attentions towards SEO and then after some time you should convert your attentions towards other modes of SEm.

SEO is search engine optimization which you do in or out of your website to get ranking in search engine. SEM is social media optimization is done for getting huge traffic from social media website like twitter, google plus and twitter etc...
