Importance of alexa rank?
 

Hello optimizers, I have an question about the alexa rank. what is the importance of alexa rank for a website? And what is the difference between alexa rank and search engine rank? please describe? :confused:

Alexa don't have any importance, it shows only worldwide and your country ranking.

Well it depends on every person..Alexa is important to those who are selling ad spaces on their blogs or website when it is acquired for a better ranking..

As per SEO view I think Alexa don't have any importance, it shows only your site ranking in your country and worldwide..

As of today, Alexa Rank has no more bearing.

In terms of SEO alexa rank is not important but your website will get alexa rank only when you have good website contents and constant daily traffic.

once upon alexa is used to rank sites based on the traffic but now a days I dont think even alexa is ranking websites properly.

alexa rank does not have any thing to do with the search engine rank as search engine ranks any site based on the way the site is been designed and the quality of content that is posted

Alexa doesn't do anything for you, it's just a data point if you're selling space on the site.
