Google Images SEO

How do I optimize my photo's for google picture search?

I would like each photo on it's own html. Php would make things easier for setting up, but can a .php be otpimized as well as the .html when it comes to pictures?

How should I go about this?

Thanks

It doesn't matter that you have .php or .html extension, both will work well to optimize image's for Google image search. First you make sure that the images are available to the images bot, use image tags and also use image description, you can also surrounding text for your image. If you work out the above mentioned things perfectly then for sure your images will get optimized for Google image search.

Use a most relevant image that matches your text.
Pick the right file name for your image depends on the keyword
Reduce file size for faster loading.
Add a caption for easier scanning of the page.
And Must use the Alt text and Title text for this image. :)
