Is htps bad for seo?

I have a site having ssl secutity .with https //....com as url
and the same site is very less indexed in google search engine .All rest of my sites are well indexed in all major SE.
Is it true to say that https is stopping site from being crawled or something like that.?

not exactly because it affects when the site converts to https but doing SEO for https site will not be useless.

Not at all. Even websites with HTTPS are ranked higher in search engines due to their security.

HTTPS isn't like other ranking factors. Implementing it requires complexity, risks, and costs. Webmasters balance this out with benefits that include increased security, better referral data, and a possible boost in rankings.

Practices that are unethical, outdated or are outside the boundaries of Google webmaster guidelines are considered as BAD, thus the term ‘bad SEO’. While SEO is about optimizing your website for search engines, bad SEO can generate the opposite results.

So, which are these techniques that can hurt your rankings and most importantly what you should do to avoid them.

It's rare that Google reveals any of its actual ranking factors, so it came as a big surprise when representatives announced they would reward sites using HTTPS encryption with a boost in search results.HTTPS isn't like other ranking factors.
