Vector drawing is used by some programs like Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator and the advantage of it is that no matter what zoom do you give you will not see the picture with pixels.....and diffuse.

Go with Adobe Illustrator, which is a vector graphics editor developed and marketed by Adobe Systems. It is similar in scope, intended market, and functionality. You can also try at the latest version, Illustrator CS6, is the sixteenth generation in the product line.

Adobe Illustrator it primarily manipulates vector graphics. It allows you to create or edit vector graphics images. And you can create designs with small file sizes which can be printed in high quality.

Use illustrator, its the best... save your file in pdf to have a better cross with another programs... or eps! always save it in and old version (if you are using solid colors only, anyway, vectors need to be solids!)

Vector Graphics

Vector-oriented images are more flexible than bit maps because they can be resized and stretched. In addition, images stored as vectors look better on devices (monitors and printers) with higher resolution, whereas bit-mapped images always appear the same regardless of a device's resolution. Another advantage of vector graphics is that representations of images often require less memory than bit-mapped images do.
