statistics from mysql table
 

Hi,

I would like to display some simple statistics about entries in a mysql table. Is there and easy way for instance to display the number of times a certain moth species occurs in a table called records and a table field called 'species'?. As an example how would display the number of times 'chestnut' appear in the table records?

I hope someone can help.
