Index Page Problem
 

I have a site which has a front end blog.
When I visit the site, I get an Internal Server Error.
The home page of this site is index.php

None of the php pages are working on the root for some reason. I get the same message.
But when I visit a htm page, it works ok.

Any ideas why this has suddenly cropped up and how I can fix it?
