Turning my hosting off with no notice !

Hi guys

I am wanting a bit of advice, as my website who i have had hosted with pixel internet, was just turned off last wednesday, the excuse they use is it was using too many resources on the server.

What i am so upset about is the fact, they just disabled my website with no notice at all, just turned it off and said we will not be turning it back on.

I have moved the site now at great expense to myself, I intend to complain and try to claim some of this money back from them.

Do any of you have any advice on this issue, as I feel this was handled really badly and very unfair.

Anyone with an bit of common sense would say you have a few days to move this site, after that we will turn it off. Is there anyone I can make a complaint to about this ?

I agree they were rude and plain horrible to just suddenly close your site without a single notice, especially since you're a paying customer.

I suggest complaining to an admin of that site, if that person did it on purpose then it is only right for them to compensate. If it was done by just another random member, on the other hand, then it would be two birds with one stone, and you might be able to get your website back. (But then, now that would seem inappropriate)
