How are redirected domains being viewed?

Ok, I have a site that's been established as a subdomain.
I also have a new domain that I'd like to redirect to the subdomain.

My question is will the anchor text that is linked to the domaincount for the subdomain?

In other words: If site X redirects to site Y and I have 100 backlinks to site X with keyword "Key Word" will the search engine view the links as if they were to site X or to site Y?

Thanks in advance.

Every search engine prefers a 301 redirected URL where the transfer is permanent. A 301 redirection retains the link juice up to 99%. So a permanent redirection is recommended.

Search engines rather have a permanent 301 redirect. Even if the transfer is permanent. A 301 redirects keeps the link juice transferred up to 99%. So permanent recommendation is recommended rather than the temporary 302 redirect.

Every single search engine has a preference for a 301 redirected URL where the transmission is lasting. A 301 redirection preserves the link juice up to 99%.

Use 301 redirection to pass link juice to your new domain up to 99%.

If link juice are also redirected to the new domain than permanent redirect is always the best solution.
