High bounce rates in Google

I am really excited to see my posts here. I was actually out of town for few days ad so I did not see the updates. Now that I am back, I am really happy to see the results. However, have you noticed that there is a great bounce in the result pages of the search engines? Dont you think this is quite strange? It is also strange to find that due to this bouncing rate, the rank of the pages is not coming out well. What do you think might be the reason for this? Will it create any problem with the rank of my new site? What do you think? Please help.

Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits (or web sessions). It is the number of visits in which a person leaves your website from the landing page without browsing any further. Google analytics calculates and reports the bounce rate of a web page and bounce rate of a website.
