How to fix massive 404 pages?
Hello Friends,
How to fix massive 404 pages? |
Use the smallest amount of plugins possible because when you have lots of plugins, you never know what can happen after updating them. Be aware, that plugins can do everything on your website.
Go or subscribe to google webmaster tools and wait for the 404 to appear in Crawling errors. If it does not appear it means that Googlebot isn't aware of it. |

You can fix the 404 Error by redirecting(301 redirection) to the custom page which should be relevant.

Hi
Retry the web page by pressing F5, clicking/tapping the refresh/reload button, or trying the URL from the address bar again. ... Check for errors in the URL. ... Move up one directory level at a time in the URL until you find something. https://www.welllivingshop.com/washa...mattress-pads/ |
The best way to handle 404s is to eliminate the problem that is causing them on your website in the first place. After you've done that, you might want to spice up your 404 page with relevant links (perhaps based on the URL of that page that visitors appear to be looking for). This is done to make sure the 404 isn't a road block, but turns into a relay that might take your visitors either to the page they had intended to go in the first place, or otherwise an interesting and related page instead.
